BUS Stop

There may be new meaning to the name. Seems a new bus service is starting up that serves Little Rock and Dallas. For a limited time you can buy round trip non-stop (this is big) bus tickets from Little Rock to Dallas for $1.00 each way. Apparently when the special ends the real price will be $20.00 each way. I am not a bus riding proponent, but if I can travel to Dallas, non-stop for $40 round trip at the most, a new tradition may be born.

It will also be serving Austin, Houston, San Antonio, Memphis and Norman,OK.

It is supposed to be an upscale bus experience compared to Greyhound and Trailways...also it is non-stop. They use some double decker buses and offer free Wi-Fi .

Is there a link? I often travel Dallas to San Antonio to visit family and DESPISE driving I35. And I've already worn out 281.

When you get off at the bus stop come to the BUS STOP.

If the bus ride is upscale, I'd try it

The only negative for me is if I want to enjoy the Blvd, I have to leave Little Rock at 1:45am Saturday and get to Dallas at 6:50am. Only other option is arriving Dallas at 5:50pm and then having to get to the stadium. If I want to come back on Saturday, I leave Dallas at 11:00pm and get to Little Rock at 4:15am. If I spend the night Saturday I can leave at 11:00am on Sunday. I might actually try this sometime when Ponyte refuses to let me ride with him.

When have I ever refused you? I can see the Wi-Fi winning over a drive with me though.

You supply me with fun facts which cannot even be found with Google or Wikipedia.

Sounds good, but....

How will they ensure upscale experience (passengers) offering $1 tickets?

Or $20 tickets, for that matter...

Megabus has been in the Midwest for awhile. Never have taken it myself but know people that have who have really enjoyed it
