2012 Football Kickoff Luncheon Set For August 15

DALLAS (SMU) - The eighth-annual SMU Football Kickoff Luncheon, sponsored by The Gardner Group has been scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 15th, and will be held in the Trinity Ballroom at the Omni Dallas Hotel, 555 S. Lamar St. Lunch will be served at noon, followed by an interview with SMU Head Coach June Jones and Mustang student-athletes.

Mustang fans have the option of sponsoring a table of 10 for $750, which includes eight tickets and the choice of two players or a player and a coach, or purchasing individual tickets for $75. Preseason honors and accolades are piling up for the Mustangs, with SMU senior running back Zach Line being named preseason C-USA Offensive Player Of The Year by Blue Ribbon College Football Yearbook yesterday. The outlet also named Line and three Mustang teammates - Margus Hunt, Darius Johnson and Taylor Reed - first-team All-Conference.

This will be the first time that I attend this event. What is the best time to show up? I know lunch is served starting at noon. When do the doors open?
