Margus has 85% of the votes. He would face the winner of Josh H. and JET in the next round...

I am proud of Margus kicking Dez's rear, but I think the dog catcher would have received more votes than Dez.

It's great for Margus to get this publicity, but it will be disgusting to see him likely go down to a druggie in the next round - but that's the Dallas fan for you.
Anyway - great publicity for what is happening on The Hilltop right now regardless!!!!!!!!!!!

Hamilton creamed Terry, so Margus gets a bad draw of Josh Hamilton in the next round. That'll be a tough draw although Dez Bryant was a formidable opponent.

Yeah, typical Dallas fans, can't believe that they would vote for the former MVP over someone they have likely never heard of. Obviously fans in no other cities would do that.
Don't get me wrong, I will vote for Margus and hope he wins, but pretty silly to act like only Dallas fans would vote for Hamilton.

You have a point, and I think Margus' whooping of Dez and likely whooping by Hamilton just proves what a lot have been saying: you have to consistently play at a high level in Dallas to get any kind of attention, or you are dead to the Dallas fan. Dez has all the gifts to be great, but has squandered them on an over-hyped, mediocre Cowboys squad, hence the reason he got whooped in this poll. While the exercise itself is kinda silly, it speaks to how Dallas has always treated its teams. SMU will never win the t-shirt fan with seasons just above .500, minor bowls, and ass-whoopin's by BCS teams. This season needs to be special, and it needs to be the start of a trend. No more excuses, just time to get it done.

I agree with Grant. He's got no chance against Josh but who would've considered Margus a top 8 athlete in DFW? Great pub. Don't see a TC-who? Player in the field....
btw, I voted for JET over Josh....he brought my Mavs a title, so he'll always have a special place in my heart. Game 4 vs. the Lake Show and game 6 vs. the Heat were epic....as clutch as it gets
