The Maxwell Football Club released the official watch lists for the Maxwell Award and the Bednarik Award. The group is responsible for both awards, the Maxwell given to "America's outstanding college football player" and the Bednarik presented to the nation's top defensive player.

The 64-player list of Maxwell Award nominees includes SMU running back Zach Line, the two-time defending Conference USA rushing champion.

Zach is definitely outstanding. Here's hoping we see him on all sorts of awards lists this year.

I have to believe we'll hear 48's name tied to a lot more awards before his senior year is done!
