Hmmm ... Where's the "SMU" ? And no blue anywhere? "SMU" should be big across the front IMHO.

But not bad if the actual ones. I'd rather it be more conservative than anything and these look very conservative.

So these will be the ones we will be wearing when we play in the Rose Bowl this year ... cool!

Seem normal to me, but I'm from SEC territory. They look very SEC, very traditional, and not too Ole Miss. With the white helmet they will be great. Not to get flamed, but I hope there is an alternative uni that will please the current players and future recruits. A really great throw back or a tasteful pro combat would seal the deal.

Jacked Up-as usual I'd rather have any of our all white on (red/or blue) that we have had in recent years except the ridiculous New York Jet look. I've always hated the shoulder rings. Keep it simple. We have the best color combination but an endless stream of coaches who screw it up

QUESTION: If all 8 of these uniform changes were so damn neat-o over the last few years (I'm sure the kids will love these too) why do we have to change them every 3 years. Because they suck-that's why. Whoever did the modern computer mock-up of the throw-back uniform did a helluva of better job of creating a unique modern looking uniform than the world famous Nike.

We could live without the shoulder stripes, but the middle one should be blue, and

speaking of blue, I sure hope the home jerseys are blue.

I'm with Stallion on the shoulder rings. Kind of tacky IMO. More Blue!

Maybe this is the "beta" version to get feedback from players and fans and will roll out the final version later in mid-August??

We have had so many gorgeous uniforms in the past (witness the pony Express years) I don't know why they keep changing. Doak Walker's uniform was mean looking!

The shoulders have less stripes, I think although they are bigger, having just two stripes is better. It also looks a lot cleaner with a mostly red and blue base, just a tough of blue on the number keeps it simple and clean.

Yes I would rather have the SMU on the front over that tiny pony, and maybe more of a modern approach to our Pony Express jerseys, but this looks clean and solid. These could have been much much worse given Nike's history with smaller programs i.e. TCU and Boise, so as long as they keep the helmet and pants simple and clean this is a real win for us.

Lets just pray for a blue alternate.
