Former SMU guard Josh LeRibeus signed a four-year contract Wednesday with the Washington Redskins. Top pick Robert Griffin III signed hours earlier, making LeRibeus the Redskins' final draft pick to sign on the dotted line. LeRibeus had missed two days of rookie conditioning and classroom work while his agent and the Redskins worked out the details of the contract.

That's Mustangs on the Redskins. Now Josh has the duty of keeping a Bear's jersey clean. Almost makes me wish I still had season's tickets. But then again, with the Nats and Caps, that bleeds the fun account pretty dry.

I will admit that I would like my Giants to sign a pony. And I have no doubt that they will if I write them enough letters!

LeRibeus will prove to be much more important to that franchise than that kid from Baylor.

Easy remedy: drop the Nats and watch them on MASN, and keep Caps and Redskins tickets.

Baseball has always been my first love. I grew up watching the Senators and with the Nats in first place, this has been a really fun summer for DC baseball fans. Beat the Braves.
