Days after Syracuse announced their early exit from the Big East, Pittsburgh is following them. There's really no surprise here. The Big East will go forward with their core 12 starting in 2013.

And take that 28-6 with you. And for that matter 7-3 as well.

I read total money to Big East with West Virginia, Syracuse, Pitt, TCU leaving is $40 million.

Glad that the ACC just took on a large contingent of utter mediocrity.

Can we get Pitt on the schedule more often? We need the easy win.

I wonder how much dope the TCU football players are going to have sell to come up with that kind of cash?

As far as Cuse and Pitt to the ACC, the schools are getting the way better part of that deal. I don't see those schools adding a whole lot to the ACC competitiveness-wise. And that's the ACCs problem. They are in plenty of big media markets. What's holding them back is that they can't compete on the field with the other power conferences. Pitt and Cuse add nothing there.
