Is SMU seeking any of PSU's players? Im sure it'd be a long shot, since the main reason guys would leave is because they want to play for a BCS bowl, but SMU does go to Big East in 13, as im sure you know.


Speaking of which, how is SMU preparing for the conference change?

You should be able to get better recruits because you can offer BCS games.

recruiting is a touchy subject on this board

It was a different time. 1) we could not play games the next year. I think many players would have stayed if we could play games in 87. 2) There was no twitter, camera phones, etc.....It was easy to hide the meat market....these days, not so much

Could players not transfer to swc schools?

No at least 3 players transferred to UH
