Just got kicked off the team at Arkansas State for violating team rules, He already has to sit this year out. He would be a good reclamation project.

Dyer's next stop will be a nondescript 1-AA school in the middle of nowhere.

He was a RB at Auburn under the Gus Malzahn offense and was MVP of the NC game against Oregon two years ago as a true freshman. Something happened at Auburn and when Malzahn took the Arky State job he transferred to ASU - would have wrecked havoc in the SBC had they been able to get him and Aplin in the same backfield. But now he's gone and screwed up (presumably again) and now has to leave ASU.

Frankly, talent wise he'd probably fit in great in the RnS and would be a great replacement for ZL when he graduates. Question is what's his deal.

He reminds me of that Nebraska running back that just could not stay out of trouble. Great waste of great talent.

One would think given the off season turmoil (JJ flirting with a different ASU, Orsini) that JJ would want to minimize potential distractions this year. Dyer may be a great talent but does JJ need that level of potential problem from a fixer-upper player?
