Offensive Tackle James Dunbar has not yet been academically cleared. If he isn't cleared that would be about 10 non-graduation losses from kids who either were starters, projected starters or players expected to make significant contributions.

So much for TCU's academic support services. If they, the advisors, counselors, & so forth, were doing their job, would this have happened? LOL!!!
I doubt it!!!

And yet the Star Telegram includes information about public practices. It would be nice if our local paper, and press generally, gave two hoots about us. I forlornly watched the news on saturday to see news of SMU camp starting..... Nothing.

Our new AD doesn't start until the 13th. Maybe then we will have a marketing department and sports media advocate. SID needs some help.

We are competing against a Big 12 team in the metroplex. The bar for getting coverage has gone up. Once we.crush Baylor and TCU and play aggies close we will get more

Eddie Sefko had a nice story in Sunday's paper on the first day of practice, plus online they had a photo slideshow. None of it was super prominent, but it was there.
Back to the topic thread, it makes you wonder if Line can go for broke against TCU if they're having to break in new OL people early in the season.

Nope. She's not the SMU beat writer any more. It's now Bill Nichols.

hmmm...why would Stallion ever share bad news about TCU?
took me a second but of course, he wants to have a quasi non-football excuse built in for why we beat them for a second year in a row after he said they and Tech were improving AT A MORE RAPID PACE than us, 3 years ago.

Stallion tells the truth--whether it is good or bad for smu or tcu. I'll take it.
