I don't think they score thirty. If not we should either win or make a good game of it IMO.

I think its pretty easy money they score more than 30. I know they got a new QB but only 2 teams held them under 30 last year. A&M(26) and OSU (24). Briles' teams are gonnna score. They've got great athletes all over the field who already have proven they can put up big numbers. Looks like they averaged close to 50 last year playing against BCS level talent

I agree with this. IF we keep them under 30, we better frickin' win. I think it's more of a question of do we keep them under 40. If they score more than 40, we lose. Less than 40, we win.

Gonna be a track meet, hopefully we win by a nose

Baylor will score more than 30 us, simply too many athletes for us to slow down.

I would think that they will score 30.

Don't forget we will have a 100% Zach Line. We will easily be able to control this one with our defense and running game, unless it gets out of hand or something.

If our history in first games of the season since 1989 is any indication..........

And we beat TCU. Not going to blame the offense if we can't hold them to under 30 unless we have a bunch of turnovers on our end of the field. If we score over thirty we should be in a good position to win the game if our defense plays up to par. The time to win is now.

I'm watching the Alamo Bowl now.

Now... I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that Baylor may decide to run a no huddle on us. Are we taking ANY steps to address our complete inability to stop a hurry up attack?

Pretty good assumption. How do you slow it down? Any team capable would be wise to try.

Well since we have one of the best defensive coordinators in the country in Coach Mason I am sure he will figure it out.

Mason is great and all - but every hurry up we have faced has crushed us. We almost lost TCU when they went to it - and if patterson wasn't a dolt he would have started that earlier and won. That decision only cost them about 10 million.

we don't hold them under 30. I'm afraid they do hold us under 30 in our first outing. i think at our place we win this one - but opening at theirs with new qb and new Oline is not good news. i actually like our odds vs ATM better.

I'm calling for a win at Baylor.

Maybe I should have said 40 instead of 30. I will try that in a few days.
