Three Mustangs Named To Senior Bowl Watch List
Hunt, Johnson & Line Earn Recognition

Mobile, Ala. (SMU) - The 2012 season is a little less than a week away, but SMU seniors Margus Hunt, Darius Johnson and Zach Line are already on the Watch List for more postseason honors. The Mustang trio is on the Senior Bowl's first-ever Watch List, joining other top NFL draft prospects.
The Senior Bowl is college football's premier senior showcase event, annually featuring the nation's best senior collegiate football stars and top NFL draft prospects on teams coached by NFL coaching staffs. Senior Bowl practices and game week festivities are attended by more than 800 general managers, head coaches, assistant coaches, scouts and other front office personnel from all 32 NFL teams.
The top 100 seniors in the country will be invited to participate in the 2013 Senior Bowl, set for Saturday, Jan. 26, in Mobile's Ladd-Peebles Stadium. Appearing on the Watch List is not a requirement for a player to earn an invitation to the Senior Bowl. Invitations for the 2013 Senior Bowl will be begin being extended in the next few weeks and continue throughout the 2012 season.
Hunt, Johnson and Line were named preseason All-Conference USA by CBSSports.com and were joined on the list by fellow seniors Ja'Gared Davis and Taylor Reed. Line is also on the Watch Lists for the Walter Camp, Maxwell & Doak Walker Awards; Johnson is on the Biletnikoff Award Watch List and Hunt is on the Lombardi and Hendricks lists.
SMU will host Texas A&M, TCU, Memphis, C-USA West rivals Houston and Tulsa and 2011 C-USA Champion Southern Miss at Ford Stadium in 2012.
