I think in previous years we had a season preview before the first game. I haven't seen or heard anything recently and wondered if it will be on this year. Anybody know? If I have missed it sorry.

It will air again. First episode is next week.

I am probably in the minorty here but that money could be spent on a lot of other things more useful.

We need to advertise it. Hint: Big billboards around town.

I'm inclined to agree with you. Don't get me wrong, it is a fun show to watch and get an inside look, but I'd rather see the money spent on more TV ad time or even a segment each week on one of the local stations leading up to each week's game. Could be similar content to the Stampede, but different focus and more local visibility.

I'd agree, I'd also like to see the viewing numbers. The advertisers have been the same that already advertise with us.

Do we have a shortage of advertising money? This show is fantastic and just needs to be advertised better. Anybody have an idea as to its weekly viewership?

I hope they (the AD) will post it on youtube so that those of us not in the viewing area can see it as well.

really? Yes, the marketing dollars gave been very scarce for years.

This is a great show and a wonderful recruiting tool.
The recruiting value is why we do it - essentially a 30 min adverisement for the program that high school players who are considering SMU can watch - plus diehard fans.

we could adverse it more but I would not want to eliminate the funding in favor of more billboards

It certainly beats the old coach show where the coach sits on a stool and talks about the weeks game.

Yes but June doesn't really recruit.
