This morning Fox Sports listed the best college football uniforms noting that these schools don't have to try and be "trendy" or "flashy". You will note that, for the most part, they also WIN consistently.

Also interesting is that they are all big state schools except for a couple of them.

I think that is more the key than uniforms. They just have a large fan base voting form them.

Well we definitely did not get "trendy" or "flashy" with these uniforms.

No mix of orange, maroon, and white will ever "look good" objectively.

ESPN just posted a similar list for all sports. All the teams that topped the list were just the one's with the oldest uniforms.

That makes perfect sense doesn't it?

Arkansas is introducing an Anthracite uniform this year.

I am sure most of the ones voting were of the older crowd. Oregon would probably do better with the younger crowd.

Oregon has never ever had a traditional uniform. They have a history of a different uniform every season and all have been disasters. Yes, their current uniform edition is probably the best and appeals to the younger crowd as the older crowd never had a good uniform to appreciate.
