Didn't catch the game tonight. Did Beas play? Don't see any stats for him.

If not, I assume that means he made the team?

If so, picked a bad time to not have a good game.

He played in the first half, but didn't even get looked at by the soon to be cut aggie qb.

No one ever accused an Aggie of being too bright.

He's a lock for a spot. They were mostly looking at the final guys that need to prove themselves. Danny Coale is in a tough spot. He's caught only one pass during the preseason, I'm guessing he makes the practice squad. If he gets a roster spot over Cole then something is very wrong. He may get the final spot over some of the other guys since he was drafted.

Cole did very very well during practice and the preseason.

I would keep Rudy Carpenter and punt McGee.

CB only played in the first quarter, and only in 3 receiver sets. Cowboys worked a lot of TEs and FB formations. It was hard watching McGee play. He will get the boot and Carpenter is going to the practice squad.

The one thing that McGee has going for him is it forces Jerry Jones to admit he screwed up wasting a 4th rounder on McGee and Jerry does not like to do that.

Pretty sure Jerry is going to turn into the next Al Davis if he doesn't give up control sometime soon. Dan Snyder figured it out, Jerry needs too as well

He played some in the first quarter but none after that. They were looking at the other receivers. I think Beas is a lock

No one on earth with any semblance of football knowledge would agree with you.

The only Cowboys factor that's constant throughout their playoff drought... Jerry Jones.

Hope he realizes that soon, if not, it will be the same till he dies.

Your Al Davis comparison really hits right at home. Great comparison.

Jerry's ego is a HUGE issue. I think Romo is a great guy with tons of talent, but I don't think it will ever translate into deep playoff runs and/or championships ... which so far has proven true. Time is running out, I think Romo lacks that "IT" factor the great ones have. Jerry will never admit to that, or that he needs a skilled GM at the helm. Jerry Jones the owner, would have fired Jerry Jones the GM years ago IMO.

The difference between the two is that Jerry Jones has done a lot of good for the NFL (part of group that negotiates TV contracts and league sponsorships). Al just sued the NFL when he didn't get his way. I think of JJ as more a George Steinbrenner. Really good teams when listens to the experts - overhyped mediocre teams when he makes the decisions. Either way... Massive ego gets in the way of greatness.
