What a bad day for CUSA. Only UCF and ECU win. We need to step up and win the conference this year. Just another reason to be excited about the move to the BE.
At least the only BE losers are the teams leaving, Syracuse and Pitt. Love it.

Really was a weak opening weekend for the conference. And Houston needs a serious kick in the pants for that loss. Embarrassing the entire conference.

Pitt losing to a DI-AA school really deflates our bowl win.

No, it does not! That game was played at the end of last season. Both teams have made substantial changes.

UTEP made some bonehead plays last night, otherwise perhaps they could have squeaked things out.
Very worrisome, we never play well there.

Absolutely true, we should win this conference! I'm not sure Houston will be the factor that I thought, but UTEP certainly made themselves a player. Good for them! Tulsa and USM should have done better. UCF did what they expected, I suppose. Poor Memphis. Didn't see Tulane, Rice looked weak. We are far and away one of the best in CUSA and tonight we will prove it.

If Gilbert is as good as people are claiming only UCF should be able to touch us

Yes, Pit has a full coaching staff now and their injured RB is back.

True and they might not win their appeal so they may not be eligible to win CUSA. Also, the Tulsa QB looked okay on short and intermediate throws but could not throw the long ball very well.

Tulane looked pretty good against Rutgers and for the most part it was a pretty close game. Rutgers just had better athletes.

So the 2011 Mustangs and the 2011 Panthers are the same thing?

If you think Houston is bad you should see the Memphis board right now - they are in absolute meltown after losing to UT-Martin. I mean, nobody expected them to compete for a championship this year, but jeeez....

From what I understand, that would be like Smu losing to El Cetro CC.
