Yep, it's as we feared, June probably suppressed Gilbert's desire to run.

Yes, on one play, which was a completed pass for a first down, GG had an open field in front of him.

Actually I have seen on open on quite a few plays. That is why I posted it.

What happened to the last QB who ran at SMU under JJ?
Lead Eastern Washington to it's first win over a FBS school in nine years yesterday.

It was open often, but GG isn't comfortable at all. he wants to make his bones as a passer. He needs to tuck it and go when the opportunity presents itself. It puts a healthy fear in the defense.
