We still have a few slots to fill and I hope we will fill them with players that have more than just UNT and UTSA offers. If we fair well against Texas A&M and TCU it could help against negative recruiting fallout of this game.

Have you seen our recruits thus far, it's not like they have a ton of other options.

Well you do have a point but I am talking about the unfilled spots. Hopefully we are aiming higher. We just saw what the difference was on a mid level BCS and us, This under the radar, diamond in the rough stuff might produced a handful of good players but in order to win a game like this we need more than just a handful of good players.

It's pretty obvious that it doesn't matter what happens on the field if our coaches are taking a lackadaisical approach to recruiting (not all the coaches, but you know who).

Are we recruiting? I thought we had switched over to a system where interested athletes just drive over to SMU and sign a contact form.

I wasn't aware we were legitimately in on any better prospects for those unfilled spots.

You got it wrong, we switched over to a system where we have our own QB recruit for 2013 do all the major recruiting.

The incessant negativity from many "fans" is embarrassing.

Our "performance" , after having Jones here for 5 years, was the embarrassment that many saw yesterday.

This board is tame compared to the Houston, WSU, Pitt, and Memphis boards. People have to vent especially on message boards lees than 24 hours after a loss. In reality some things are not always positive for "fans." Sorry dude but people have a right to be upset about this one.
