My 2 cents

Positives

Gilbert is the best QB we have had around here in a long time.

Our O-Line looked great and gave QB tons of time.

Zach Line is a warrior and gave it his all.

Negatives

Our "playmakers" Darius Johnson, Margus and JaGared seem to disappear yesterday. We need them to step up in the big games.

Playcalling was awful especially in the Red Zone. Where are all the deep balls that torched Pitt and TCU?

Low percentage calls on 3rd down

We never used the run to set up the pass or vice versa.

Why do our "smart" players make such dumb 3rd down penalties and other schools who have dummies don't??

Year 5 and 10 million later we should be a much better football team.

And after being thoroughly embarrassed and out-coached by a mid-to-low level bcs team I hope jj doesn't expect to see the stands filled with fans. Face it- he was pissed last year and packed it in as far as coaching because Ford wasn't filled after a couple of good wins.
I anticipate both the f-aggie and drug frogs will pound us as well. If we aren't careful leroy and his lumberjacks might do the same to us.

IMO jj is only biding his time til the end of the year when he will (hopefully) retire and head to the islands. The big problem is that our recruiting is a joke and that will continue to kill us in the next few years.

Such great expectations- such pathetic results

i am afraid you are right on both the retirement and the recruiting. could be a rough entry into the Big East

Really dreading that draw, God help us if we have to deal with Baylor, Tech, A&M, TCU as well as Boise State, Louisville and Cincy
