Margus Hunt (#92 DE) (Lombardi Award & Hendricks Award Watch Lists)
- Set the NCAA career record with his 9th blocked FG. He now has 15 total blocks (9 FG, 6 PAT), which is third in NCAA history. The block was on a 23-yard FG attempt at 4:57 of the 1st quarter.

Thank goodness for all of those turnovers.......if A&M turns it over 10 times, we could have a chance!

If A&M turns it over 10 times their fans will probably burn down our stadium

What's with the GG passing bashing? He "missed" on one long ball and the other one should have been caught (both to Thompson). I think he's been very steady and is the best pure passer we've had post-DP. He's money on those quick outs - very strong, very accurate. I think the long ball will get improved over time with game time chemistry being developed . . . I have a feeling will see quite a few to DJ especially by the time we get into CUSA play when we'll start seeing our offense really starting to click (when it most matters anyway).

I agree Ojai.. while Gilbert has not worked the Expected Miracle that I and many have wanted most would agree he hasn't had a lot of help from his receivers so far.. also the O-line is already injured and struggling but is doing better than expected and will get better. The potential at QB is very obvious and refreshing from both Gilbert and Conner.. especially when compared to the last few years..

The lingering Death House mentality so easily raises it's head on this board and some seem not only to enjoy dwelling on it but thrive on it.. Hating on Gilbert after the first game..

I think for the betterment of the program and Team Supporters.. the Coach Haters and Haters in general should have their own Board right next to Recruiting...

we have an affliction on this board - some people think constantly degrading their own team makes them appear more intelligent - when it really just comes off as sad. It was born our of our miserable 15 year down period and some folks are having trouble shaking it apparently.

gilbert is an excellent QB - he is not the issue. Cant wait to see him improve along with the team , although i will guess we are outmanned by aggie. TCU - not as much.

I actually agree, I think Gilbert will be fine. The dropped passes have been a problem. The playcalling on offense has been troubling and the receivers have looked poorly conditioned or coached. They were already undersized, but now they look slow.

GG has shown his impressive ability at times this season. I think he is going to put together a game soon like the near perfection he has been performing in practice this fall.
