TOWING CARS WON'T HELP THE CAUSE

I think that if SMU want to get people out to the games they need to get better parking. I searched for about an hour for a parking place. I finally said let me go ahead and pay. But as I was passing through the CVS parking lot they had cars lined up towing them away. I don't see any customers there so why haven't anyone made deals with them to pay them to let fans park atleast. I know that parking lot a Mockingbird station was full and the construction makes it even worst to find a spot. As a woman the lighting is very poor for walking along. Just things I took notice of. Also someone needs to tell the marketing department to give tickets away to everyone they see and make the money off of Concession, that might drive families out with kids. We need to try it atleast.

True.
They should try anything. Maybe 5 or 10.00 dollars but clearly 20.00 for the tickets and 20.00 to park isn't the answer. They have to do like here in Fort Worth, I absolutely hate it though. But they have most all of the corporate building here selling tickets or giving them away. Most of my co-workers wear the TCU purple and white on Friday's and they have flags everywhere and on everything. All of the buses and trolley have advertisement with the Horn frogs on it. We have a long ways to go.

do they still have the shuttle running from the DART FREE parking lot?
You can always park in the neighborhood south of the stadium too, sometimes a bit of a walk. This wknd will be a nightmare to park.

Well I did look over there, because the shuttles were running often. No parking was to be found. I finally was able to take the detour around and found some meter parking. I'm going directly there this weekend I hope.

Plenty of parking in neighborhood across mockingbird and at DART station. Not that hard.

need to do a better job getting the word out; remote parking and shuttle is the ticket
I also liked when your ticket to the game allowed you to ride DART free on gameday. Are we still doing that? For those who don't mind walking, it's a good way to go

Yeah I thought that $20 public parking lot signs far away from Stadium is ridiculous-seriously [deleted] off the people wanting to try out SMU Football. its too high. You know A&M, TCU and Baylor I know offer free parking and transportation from remote parking lots several miles away from their stadiums and there ware plenty of parking spaces availiable even with sellouts. There should always be a cheaper parking option to those wanting to attend

Tweet to AD Hart, he is taking notes (or so he says). I'm not sure Orsini even knew what twitter was.
@AD_RickHart
This should also be a sticky I think --

Hmm, I was able to park in that grass area outside the stadium for about $10.

I haven't been to too many college games where finding parking wasn't hellacious. I usually park south of Mockingbird for free and have a few beers on the walk. I've found parking to be pretty handy with SMU games.
