According to Ticketmaster, lots of seats available still in these bleachers as well as the upper level endzone seats in all the sections at the north end of the stadium. Going to be a real shame if SMU priced the tickets higher than the market wanted to pay and we have 3-6,000 empty seats tomorrow.

that is the way you do it with "big time" college programs though. this isn't mustang mania where you give away 40,000 tickets. For big games with big followings you price accordingly. This generates excitement and the feeling "I better get my ticket now" weeks in advance rather than the typical smu fan and student who has the attitude of "oh there will be plenty of seats available and I might go down to the blvd and go to the game too if the weathers nice and I'm not busy that day. Fill the stadiums, win some games, create a buzz and string a few successfull seasons and the alumni and fans come out of the woodwork and then the Morning news starts covering generating more excitement and next thing you know your school is in the Big 12 signing tv deals, expanding stadiums and requiring foundation membrships to buy overpriced tickets.......yea, just like TCU did it as much as it pains me to say it.But you gotta pay the price first to earn the other. We need the fans now and it will speed things up for not Dallas' team but the Metroplex's team! Perfect weather with perfect atmosphere for a "throwback" game.Don't miss it.

Speaking of throwback...not gonna happen but how cool would it be to come out, warm up in our normal red unis then go back in and come out in pony express blue

Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

when I go to the SMU web site and look for tickets, all remaining tickets cost $94.40 with fees and maybe 2000 open seats counting the temporary bleacher. so maybe some people will buy tickets right before the game. maybe some season holders won't show up. my conclusion is the tickets are priced for maximum revenue attendance. if it was 100% sold out then I would be concerned the tickets were priced too low. On this issue I think SMU got it right

Will they leave the temporary bleachers up for TCU?
