Shuttle from Dart Station

Unless my mom throws down a veto, dad is going to the game against Aggie tomorrow.

If I want to minimize his walking, should I try to find parking in one of the Pay lots or just drive to the Dart station and catch the shuttle? If I do take the shuttle, how much of a PITA is it to get a shuttle back to the Dart station?

In terms a of pay parking, my sister was able to park at a garage on the site of the old SAE lhouse at the Navy game last year. How early would I need to get there to get a garage spot and is there a traffic map that takes into consideration all the construction? I went to the campus yesterday and it was a giant construction site.

park at the mockingbird dart station for free. smu provides a free bus from the dart to the doak walker statue by the stadium. after the game go back to doak walker statue for a return bus ride. if you have to walk it is about 1/2 mile walk.
look for lots of football fans many with SMU shirts boarding the buses.

since this will be a record crowd I would suggest go earlier and walk the boulevard.

Thanks. Some places have good shuttle services and others are a fiasco. With my dad's health issues, I want to make it as easy as possible for him.

FWIW, I've heard that they have no game day parking signs posted at the Mockingbird station. If there would ever be a week they would enforce it, it would be this one.

By the shops, yes - but not at the DART station.

But you could park at ANY Dart station pay a 1.50 to ride the train to the Mockingbird station. Then, catch the shuttle.

DiamondM75 makes a good point, you can take the dart train to mockingbird station and then proceed

Actually the road was blocked up to the Doak statue so the shuttle stopped at the SE end of the stadium, which is also convenient.
