Pull Gilbert IF we want a chance the rest of this year

Gilbert has really shown us nothing and as we have seen in the past, Coach June Jones will pull his QB, if he doesn't see improvement. Pull GG now if we wanna save our season.
Your thoughts.

Conner has looked much better the few plays he's been involved in so far.

the game is lost with GG, at least let 2nd string guy try. JJ did that to Pardon last year against A&M. why the hold up?

Gilbert is showing why he couldn't cut it at Texas.....clearly a huge miss by Rivals. Who was the #1QB his senior year?

JJ recruited Preston not GG-PLAY the guy in a blowout for goodness sakes and find out what he can do now.. GG is a shell of his former self -he hasn't gotten it done at this level ever.

I predict he's not at this rate. Why not transfer to a more basic offense at the FCS level and see what you can do? He's already got his degree anyway.

So ironic that our QB genious has had such problems at that position. CP needed to be put in this game at halftime and given the opportunity to get some playing time....

It's hard to think of JJ as a QB guru.........maybe in the 80's or against FCS teams.............smoke and mirrors only work for so long. The guy hasn't even put a QB on an NFL regular season roster................

If JJ could yank Padron in the first game after the second series then he should yank GG. However, GG was named starting QB before any official practices. JJ will stay with GG and even if he gets worse JJ will stay with him just to save face.

What is JJ going to do if Preston is a bust? No way he can pull GG to save face

Maybe JJ just isn't quite the QB "guru" he thinks he is????
