about 48-3 A&M. Now give Sumlin some time to buid a Texas Staff with agressive recruiters and call me in 2015. Its not the Coaching-its the wrong Coaching Staff for the Wrong Team-the entire recruiting program and strategy is a disaster

its built to win 6-7 games in CUSA. Which it probably still will. its only a disaster when we need to win vs real teams. he had the same problem in hawaii -

You know, I stopped posting on this site because of the quality of the discussions, but I have to say this.
Look at the talent level next year; taking away Margus, Zack and others, and adding our uninspiring next class. If you identify the 10th best player, the 20th best player and the 30th best player on our team next season, if you are really honest with yourself, you come to the conclusion this will take a total redo and at a minimum will be 5 more years before we can truly compete against the Aggies / Ok State’s / TTech’s of the world. And that is if we hire the right coach.
30 years after the DP and maybe we are competitive.
JJ will never change. He is going to leave the cupboard bare. Coach Doh, for all his criticisms, many of which were justified, left our BB program in a far better shape talent wise.

35-10 A&M, A&M still would have the talent advantage and not even June could screw that up.

You said what I have been trying to say all night so well....Those 3 baby bowl games after beating a slight majority of sunbelt quality teams did us no favors....Phil Bennet coulda done just as well. June was never special, However, he did help change the recruiting rules...however, he never took advantage of it...he just sat on his keester, played golf, and hoped his assistants could land some miracle recruits...

Agreed. We're in deep...no more denial. Worst part was when Aggies walked past...saw my SMU shirt...and looked away. No gloating, no "good game"...they were embarassed for us.

Sumlin has forgotten more about quarterbacking than June will ever know.
