The defense wasn't that bad. Menziel made some amazing plays and the offensive failures meant they were out there all day.
The problem is on offense.

How many 3rd downs did we convert - 1 maybe. This offense cannot convert on third and one and is horrible on the red zone. It is played.

Shorten "shoot" by one letter, and change the "O" vowel to an "I." Then you will have a more accurate statement.

The one time we did convert it was on a run, running on 3rd and short what a [deleted] novel idea.

FWIW, this offense led the nation in total offense as recently as 2006 and was third in 2007 (along with 12 wins and a Sugar Bowl berth). The only difference between then and now is the talent running the offense. You can blame that one on CJJ if you wish - recruiting.
And based off our two losses, you could also reach the conclusion that the defense we're running doesn't work either.

RnS might work for a team like OU, Alabama etc but c'mon it's way too predictable st least with JJ at the wheel.. I just want a fresh start with a new coach that's humble and cares about his school...
