Did anyone notice the name plates on the back of the Line brothers' jerseys?

Zach's says: Z LINE

Prescott's says: LINE P

Perhaps it's that little-known Michigan law that says the middle brother's last name is used as his first name, and we really should be calling him "Line Prescott"?

Do we actually have that as a law? I know it's common to call someone up here by their last name but if that is actually a law then that's ridiculous... I hope you're joking...

Nike jerseys suck... Their logo is much bigger than SMU. I wish we would have stick with Adidas...

The names, and even the numbers, are hard to read from the press box, even with binoculars.

Well, the kids wanted the brand, and we wanted the sponsorship. But clearly we got the short end of the stick from their design dept.

And the stripes on the helmets are a joke along with the stripes on the jerseys. As for the red jersey, looks brighter than a fire engine! LOL

For whatever reasons, the administration is afraid (or refuses) to go back to the 80's unis & helmets. As if that design would make us start cheating again!!! LOL!!! What a joke & a ridiculous excuse if that is indeed it!!!

Folks if uni issues were our biggest problem I would take it in a second over what is going on on the field.

For Unis, I like the blue jersey layout and wish we used that for away games and used our red Addidas for home and always use the blur helmet with red pony all the time

Actually we went to Nike so the M Band could get new shoes.

Last years were pretty good. The blue in JJ's first year were the best in recent years. The nike's just suck!

On the jerseys, we went from bad 1970's Buffalo Bills stripes to some odd-ball CFL-looking three random white stripes that have no relationship to any other part of the uniform.

No SMU across the chest. Hard to read numbers and names.

Plain white pants. No stripes. Tiny Mustang logo.

Black and gray undershirts? Black is not in our color scheme, last I checked.

Did anyone notice the Ags' undershirts are an extension of the jersey. Kinda cool looking.

The red jersey color is a faded, dull almost burnt red. It's the HDTV era, fellas. How about candy apple red? Bright red? Fire engine red?

Nike designs bad-ass, state-of-the-art looking stuff for everyone else -- and this is what they come up with for us, a new client? We should ask for our money back.

Just wonder who thinks they look good.

Ron Meyer was once quoted as saying he wanted SMU to be in huge letters on the jersey so that people a 100 yards away would know it was SMU! What a change our coach has brought.
