Frustrating part is the league is so winnable this year.

So Miss loses to ECU, wow. Tulsa is the front runner and most likely winner unless we can miraculously get our S together on offense.

Sucky part as well UCF and Boise st, seem to be the only good adds for neBE. You know ESPN is high giving for our S year. Maybe they given JJ a nice package for us to suck so bad. Don't expect a good tv deal IMHO

The 'divide' between the bcs-BS schools & the have-nots is getting wider. Which was the reason it was created.

Nothing has changed except Houston looks to be a step and a half below what we thought. UTEP a little better. The truth is CUSA is awful this year-the worst it has been since we joined. Only the Cheerleaders thought we could stay on the field with A&M and Baylor. We still have a schedule that couldn't be easier to host the CUSA Championship. When we drop down about 2 steps in competition we should be competitive with each team on our schedule. Then you guys will start overestimating how great we are.

I think Houston beats us with the "this class has never lost to SMU" thing going for it.
Tulsa opened the season being competitive v big 12 competition unlike us. Have to give them the advantage.
Southern Miss likely still more physical and athletic than us.
UCF ..competed with Big Televen competition.
So..I think we should beat Rice, Memphis, Tulane.
Decided underdogs vs TCU UCF Tulsa So Miss Houston
..and when's the last time we won in El Paso ?
1-2 now, 1-4 in games we are underdogs in, and prob 2-1 in games we should win. UTEP decided whether we are 4-8 or 5-7

Stallion, there have been a lot of upsets so far this year too. Pittsburgh drilled Vtech. UNT hung with Kansas State. Utah loses to Utah State and then beats BYU.
Tulsa obviously has a good plug and play system, loses their Senior QB.

I think you are under estimating Rice. They always give us a tough game and this year they seem to be a little better than usual. I expect us to be in the lower half our our div this year and no bowl game.
The only silver lining is that might be enough incentive for the $ people to make a change.

I agree. This season has 5 wins all over it. Maybe 4 if Rice steps up.

SMU will probably get enough wins to get to a bowl game.

Rice beat Kansas a week ago.
Can take nothing for granted.

UCF and Tulsa appear to be the only competitive programs in CUSA this year
