even several who couldn't bring themselves to compliment made comments about how they could make A&M's better (by doing someof the things we do). Spreads the karma across the State that we got a fun atmoshere

Ford Stadium, SMU game day atmosphere get unusually high marks from Aggies. Good stuff. Even some compliments about interaction with SMU Fans except of course the usual drunk student stories. Maybe a few locals will want to come back and use the rest of their SMU season tickets

"Agree with post about fans not going to game. Went to smu for grad school and went to tailgate all the time for free food and beer but never went to a game once until my bro made me go to uh game with him last year. Most of the people I talked to at the tailgates had no intention of going to game."

I thought that sums it up pretty well. Even though myrdel thinks I'm a nazi for suggesting don't give free food to everyone but that's exactly what happens. They take and leave which is no benefit and it's not like they're being converted or anything... Also grad student wont seem to come regardless they should have groups or programs to try to convert them...

Also now I'm more against drinks because a bunch of frat guys could barely stand up and kept falling over my girlfriend and me. Which of course I would introduce him to my fist regardless if he's drunk or not. Now SMU will be forked a nice bill since the jackasses decided to stand on the back rest of the bleachers and completely break it off...

Wow. Never called you a NAZI, just a selfish, ungracious young person. Come to the BUS Stop. We will feed you for free and thank you for coming.

Haha just a joke but still unconvinced by the free food for leavers argument. I would but can only sense a trap fortunately have the wonderful law school bars freeloaders and provide wonderful food and keeps ags from cutting in line at the front of at least 50people

hate that i am reduced to this - but of course the aggies loved the BLVD. Have you seen their campus? It is truly awful.

Well male it free for game ticket people but my opinion people who go to the game will go regardless of free food and drinks the blvd and leave people will continue to do this and never go to a game. I'm just saying that at least the people who love blvding so much and see that they need a game ticket to continue will do it and probably show up to the game since well you bought a ticket but if there is no restriction why bother... That's why I loved the coral and hope that same thing spreads

SD,

That is a GREAT Pic and explains better than most words why SMU should do everything in its power to become relevant again.

BE is a step in the right direction, but not our ultimate destination.

SMU girls' outfits are non-descript but the right colors. Aggy girls' "outfits" have A&M emblazoned on them.

When I watched the Ole Miss game and thought of the similarity of the Grove to the Boulevard, I wondered why more fans couldn't make it into the SMU games. There weren't many UT fans at the game (2K?) and a very lively, all red Ole Miss crowd.

I enjoy the SMU games but don't do the 'Vard. It's sad to walk down the 'Vard at game time on the way to the stadium and see it still rocking. Just win baby! Beat TCU!

Been two years since I was on the Blvd, and it was great. I remember a decade ago when that thing was empty and I love how it's grown.

Someone on the Aggie board pointed out it was both family friendly and built for the students to party, and I couldn't agree more. Walking up Bishop into the main quad it was amazing - the familys looked liked they were having a ball and then two minutes later I might as well have been at one gigantic frat party, and I loved it (even if I felt like an old man).

Everybody who comes to our games walks away raving about the Blvd, and that's a good thing. As football has picked up, so has the Blvd, and having both be successful can only help us. Getting the band to walk through half an hour before was a great idea.

All of my aggie buddies hade a great time and plan to come back to future games. They had nothing but good things to say about the BLVD and many plan to enroll hoping to get a closer look at our student bodies.

seems that most of the aggies-haters are focused on the size of our band. they seem to forget that we have 4,000 undergrads here and not 45,000. little facts like that seem to go unnoticed with them.
