1st Quarter
From the telecast, SMU has yet to score in the first quarter through three games. Obviously a function of the offensive problems and the competition, but it sure is disconcerting. And of course we aren't scoring in general. The offense in the red zone and on third down is terrible. Hope they fix these issues against TCU.

everyone knew coming into this season (or at least should have known) that the offense was at the top of our concerns. !st, we lost 5 senior starters on the OL including 2 NFL caliber players. We've lost a senior WR of NFL caliber 3 consecutive years. And finally, we have yet another QB new to the system (and to his teamates)
we can all agree the offense has been dismal. Defense did a great job Saturday and kept handing them good field position only to watch another 3 and out before they could even catch their breaths.
just have to hope this group comes together. We can only hope this 2 weeks will help everyone get healthy and get it together. Another poor performance coming off a bye week...and I hate to even think about how little support there will be for the program going into conference play.
