Currently number 24 running back in the nation in total yards. Averaging 5 yards per carry.

Indeed. And he's tied for number 16 in the nation in yards per carry for those running backs with 50 or more carries (Zach has 60 carries)

After TCU game, I think he's going to shoot up the avg and break the record simply because CUSA sucks. But 5 yards a carry with weak O line and no passing game is extremely impressive. I can't imagine him not in the top 3 rounds of the draft

To be fair, ED had to share the back field. Zach is a tremendous player but he gets ALL the carries.

ED also only played 10 games not 12 during the regular season.

I know that was a joke, but it reminds me of when we actually tried that strategy in the first Bennett years with Keylon Kincade. Turns out it doesn't work.

I'd love to see Zach break some records. Even if he doesn't, I hope he sees some NFL action.

They also play more games these days and I don't believe bowl stats from the old days were counted in the records.
