The JJ R&S takes too long to get going.
Why SMU?

He talks about the bigger and faster competition.
Before Texas A&M came to play I rewatched the first quarter of the Hawai'i and Georgia game.
One thing Jimmy Johnson said about that Hawai'i team in surprise is how little the players were.
I was hoping for more bigger, faster and better players with JJ for SMU.

I for one, am pleased to hear what JJ had to say. I played football (not in college) and rugby. When I hear a coach speak like that, it makes me feel as if he has a lot of integrity and honesty about what he, and his team are trying to accomplish. Though, from a PR perspective, it seems every interview I've read/listened to, the unified message seems to be: "new system for some players" or "no cohesion".
I think that's the part that bothers me most.

Yeah, he's the head coach.
It's HIS "system" that sucks and the lack of "cohesion" is HIS problem.
