He was huge in last year's OT win, but has yet to do anything this season. He must be a constant presence for us to have a shot Saturday.

Captain Obvious, signing off.

Agreed. And so too should the O line, the other receivers, the punter and a level of intensity for the entire team we have yet to see. The D started against A$M with that intensity but when the O did nothing the D lost that intensity. Time to put it all together.

Did you see the Line interview at the top of the page? He doesn't like TCU either.

He got so badly battered by the big D backs in Waco...unfortunately he will be hearing footsteps all year. Every defense going forward now know to just beat the [deleted] out of the SMU WR's......they need to come out and smash mouth the DB's on their off side blocks to turn the tables.....

Bennett had his guys "headhunting". I've never seen a team tackle helmets like they did at Baylor. Might have had something to do with the new rule of coming off the field for a play; knowing how JJ likes to stay with the same group of 4...looked to me like it was part of a plan to keep our offense off balance

I wouldn't doubt it CP...they were physically bashing heads. Good strategy.....

Our wr's have looked pretty timid for sure. And at the Baylor game, I haven't seen that many head shots since our Cotton Bowl game with Pitt. Neither time was it coincidence, it was instructed.

didnt think about that until now - but yes, they were tackling helmets rather than legs and bodies.

Not sure what kind of NFL draft stock he had, but so far, it's hard to see that it's going up for DJ based on the year he is having so far.

We need some more WR's to step up and take some of the load off DJ.
Time for the WR's to get more physical.
The coaches might have to let the players hit in practice.

Hmmm - physical WR who can catch the ball and run the deep routes...I wonder who you could ever mean...perhaps a true Freshman that needs to start this Saturday.
