Was just at a bar when several guys on scooters drove by pulling SMU is Dallas's Team: Beat TCu signs. Was a strange way to advertise that I had never seen before

We all complained for years about the advertising (or lack thereof) but it's pretty clear smu has gotten its act together in that department.

can we just say nice job on all the signs and excitement and leave it at that, or do we have to throw in the grumpy old man comment? I agree with you, but every now and then you have to be a fan and support the school.

I saw that last night and tried to get a pic of it. It was a cool idea.

They were pulling little trailers. About 3 feet wide and 5 feet high. The were illuminated. Pretty cool.

We are absolute blowing doors in the advertising department right now! Impressive.

No kidding! No wonder a lot of schools don't like our fans. We give them good reason with comments like this.

Why don't you guys lighten up? A coach making the kind of $ June should be held accountable and we should NEVER be satisfied with 5-6 win seasons anymore nor getting beat by 40 points by unranked teams. Advertising and guys riding scooters is great but you better have a product to back it up or the crowds just will not come out.
