Well, our defense isn't as bad as people think

Our D did better than WV or Arkansas. It should get better as the season goes on as we get frosh involved at corner and safety.

Offensively, hopefully some changes were made coming into the game today! Looking forward to see if anything is different.

Our offense is the only team that couldn't score on Baylor.

yep, defense is looking better. Maybe the rain and cool weather helps us tonight, we won't wear down on D as much as we did against Aggie and Cub.

And remember guys, our defense would look even better when you realize that our offense did them no favors at all for going 3 and out all the damn time.

our defense has been good all year; that's not the problem

Who are the "people" you are talking about? Or are you making up arguments again? It is the offense that is the major concern. Looks like SMU is the only FBS team not to put 40 or more on Baylor.

After watching Baylor and A&M, SMU might not be quite as bad as was first thought. Too bad our offensive genius we have as head coach is still stuck back in the 20th century.

If any of the SMU D reads this, I just want to say you're doing a hell of a job. You're super pumped, tired, but playing your asses off and doing a fantastic job.

Thank you

We improved tonight, a lot. All 3 teams we lost to will be or has been ranked in the top 25 (aTm will be tomorrow).
We have serious QB problems, punting, and of course major coaching issues. The OL improved too.

Anybody catch the post game presser? Interesting body language with GG and T Reed. Taylor sat with his back partially facing Gilbert.

We have a few very damn good players on D. T Reed, JG, and a fantastic game by Margus. He's really coming on as predicted.

The SMU defense is ranked 120th in the NCAA...what are you people talking about?....good effort but the coaching on ALL fronts sucks. They are not properly prepared and don't adjust to to game time conditions...horrible.

Whatever, ponyscott. Did you even watch the game? They held TCU , who averages 480 yards a game, to under 170 yards. We have a damned good defense.

Our defense is the least of our problems.
