Punting with 4 minutes left down 14....

I'm sure this has been brought up but I was furious when JJ punted with 4 minutes left. Is there another coach in the country who does that? That was more of a give-up than kicking the FG against A&M. Of the many things I could biatch about, that one bothered me the most.

It sent a signal to the team that June wasn't interested in winning,,,just like the FG vs. TAMU when it was 27-0.

I know I know I know that the playbook is to kick a FG on 4th and 1 trailing by 14 at end of half--to get within 2 scores- but I think it gave the same message to the team under the conditions tonite. SMU needed a TD at half
