I'd take UTEP giving the points

1-6 in our last 7 games at the Sun Bowl, mercifully this will be our last time having to play there.

UTEP hasn't necessarily been blown out of any of their games against OU, Ole Miss, and Wisconsin. I think that our game with them will be determined by field possession and taking care of the ball. I think their defense is decent, and I think ours is as well, but both teams have struggled offensively. So with that said, we're going to have to get the run game established early if we hope to have any hope with the passing game. Also if we get the ball 1st and goal at the 1 can we try to run it more than once, rather than passing on 2nd down and risk taking a sack?

We only lost to TCU be 8 so I think we take out our frustrations on UTEP and beat them up.

Inexcusable to be an underdog to UTEP in year 5 of Junesus. I fully expect us to lose this game due to WR drops and Gilbert forcing it again, just like against TCU.

Who cares how mad they are? What are they going to do, slap the ball back at the DBs? Until they learn to catch I have ZERO expectations for the rest of this season, and until June is gone the same is true for this program.

You could say the same for them, the game will come down to which defense can best take advantage of their inept opposition. Being at home gives them a leg up since we're hopeless in El Paso.

Agreed. However their defense I think has more to be proud of because they were competitive with big OU (our AM) and ole miss (our Baylor). I say UTEP by 10, as a fan I say SMU by 2 that's only because our defense will get a safety(my bad) and that's the only points in the game

Don't you understand that even if we get 7 wins, we need more. We want to be competitive on a BCS level. We are entering the Big East which ,although not one of the best in football, is still much more competitve than C-USA. At this rate we will be a bottom feeder in the BE and will miss out on the next round of realignment. Get off Junes lap
