What a disgrace. Trafficking Cocaine University has really shown its true colors.

That is absolutely disgraceful. I thought the suspension was announced because of the beating Patterson took when he didn't suspend him after he failed the test for marijuana and admitted the cocaine and ecstasy to the police.

By this standard, he should bring back the guys who got kicked out of school over the summer. They were selling weed, but this guy smoked weed AND did cocaine AND did ecstasy AND was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.

What does this guy have to do to get kicked off the team? Shoot someone?

For the record:

Yes, I root against the Frogs in everything, because they're the Frogs, but in all honesty, TCU is a good school in many ways. However, if my son were playing for this man, he'd be transferring or at least leaving the team after this semester.

I'm not painting the entire TCU coaching staff with one brush here. However, while coaches aren't professors, they are still educators, and what Patterson is teaching over there is disgusting, and completely indefensible by the university administration.

TCU made the decision a long time ago they would do whatever it takes to win. Patterson couldn't give two sh*ts about the public perception of his program as long as TCU rises up the charts and builds a consistent winning program. You're right by this standard the kids who were kicked off the team should be welcomed back. This idiot has had multiple chances to straighten up and the TCU football program has punished him by suspending him for a grand total of 24 hours.

Horrible. Absolutely disgusting.

....a one game suspension. They are playing Iowa St. which they should be able win comfortably without Pachall. After the drug scandal and a DWI I can't imaging there's another university that wouldn't have suspended him for at least one game.

He should be suspended for the rest of the season. TCU is in no position to say this was an isolated incident or that they run a clean program. The kid was the freaking roommate of the guy who was the ringleader of the drug scandal and admitted to police to taking coke and x. Do you really think he had nothing to do with the distribution side? Don't be a fool.


This looks SOOOOO bad on TCU.

What's the precedent? Anyone know what other "top 25" teams have done in the past with this kind of record with a marquee player? Just looking for FACTS if anyone has them.
