The Pac-12 is an excellent conference. The current members are: Washington, Washington State, Oregon, Oregon State, California, Stanford, USC, UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State, Utah, and Colorado. They have no imminent plans for expansion.

Yes, we belong in the PAC-16. Thank you. When I watch SMU win the national championship in the Rose Bowl I can die in peace.

Besides Washington, USC, Stanford and Oregon (even then some of them are overrated) are very average BCS bunch. I say they are on par with big ten. Big 12 and sec in general are top tier. Acc I think besides like two teams are a very average conference if anything below big east. It's just they got good business minds.

Yeah, I'm with you.... just heard a fourth "don't talk about this" kind of thing on this but I was hearing the same things a few years ago about us going to the Big 10.
At this point I don't care... decided to post. Why not? If it's happening, bully for us. But my posting on ponyfans won't matter in the least because if this happens? Well then I'll fly a pig to the moon and be damned happy while doing it. And if it doesn't because some jerk named ThadFilms posted on a message board about it? Yeah, well then tie me to a tree and shoot me with some sort of ice-based arrows, because it will be hot in whatever Mustang hell I'll be forced to go to.

1) SMU offers access to a hodge media market, good academics, ans 20 years of clean living with the NCAA. BYU didn't get a spot because it is 2 "churchy" for the Liberals in Cali. SMU doesn't have that problem. But, unless we got in for football only, the travel costs would be enormous for non- revenue sports.
2) SEC - with all the Big 12 schools on lockdown, SMU offers access to the largest TV market within a reasonable distance to sec schools.

Travel costs are nothing compared to increased revenue. Travel costs doesn't exist as a concern for BCS conferences

And SMU makes sense for PAC if they go to 16+. There aren't many options for them and everyone wants in Texas. TCU is the roadblock.

I'm curious how does the PAC get away with religious discrimination? I'm surprise BYU didn't pursue that when it was clearly obvious why they weren't selected... I mean a liberal judge would throw it out because well our justice system is a joke. It would have been nice to see the PAC get screwed over and get bad rap

The federal courts in California would support any discrimination against Christians.
