So La Tech, with an endowment of 80 million and a student body of 11.5k located in wonderful Ruston, is now ranked 23.

LaTech should give the Ags a good game, probably high scoring. But their mojo may be running low. Between them and Utah State, the WAC ain't a bad little conference.

If a non-AQ is going to go undefeated my money is on Ohio.

Dooley really got it going, and Dykes continues to move it forward. They have a shot to beat A&M.

In Dooley's last year at LA Tech they were not that good.

La Tech will certainly do a good job carrying the bright torch of C-USA.

I also believe the ULL Ragun Cajuns have received Top 25 votes. The fact that 3 dumpy schools in Louisiana are in or receiving Top 25 votes is unacceptable. Somebody at SMU should be hung from thier toes after we pay 2 million salary, awesome campus right in the middle of the most fertile recruiting in the nation.

So true, they however probably have a real fan base since they are in America's sewer state but I tip my hat to them. However if they play the Ags, they will get demolished

Psh. Don't ya know, 7-5 is more than acceptable around these parts. No need to expect more.

Most teams in the MWC have low endowments, too.

If this bothers you, talk Boise State.
Or USF. Or UCF. Or UConn. UConn went to a BCS game, as did USF. See Boise State.

15-18 years ago they were all Div1aa.

But, do you think the lack of academic requirements for entrance played a role in their rise to fame. I am not putting down what these schools have accomplished. Having personally known the fomer Boise State Women's tennis H.C, he told me on many occasions many BSU was not the hardest academic school in the world and that many of football players could not have played at most schools due to academics. Take it for what it is but I have had no reason to doubt him.
