Why do I have a feeling this guy is going to have to transfer? Publically challenging the illusion of college football integrity is stricktly verboten!!!!

I thought about it-but hell I bet many kids think the same thing but aren't stupid enough to broadcast it to the world. It may be an illusion but guys will his attitude usually don't have the initiative or work effort make it through college either. I'd just as soon she these guys bypass college all the way if they can't recognize the opportunity to get an education from a great university. I bet he'll be moving along soon....

Wait, you have to attend class to play football at THE Ohio State (or pretty much every other team in the Big 10/SEC/Big12?
The news is that he admitted he had to go to class. THAT'S the headline!

He's just saying what everyone knows besides colleges admin and NCAA... Heck even us, we didn't come for the fun classes only to have the college experience if you will and the fact it's a requirement to get a job. In a hypothetical situation if college was free but you can get a job with little less pay we would just go ahead and get the job and start to work our way up. Faculty have to release what a joke they are if they think people really care about their liberal bias. So can't really think this is an oops because the best football players only go to school because they feel they have to not because they have a desire to like most of us.

I did learn one thing in college. I learned how to write so that I could be easily understood.

I agree with his twit 100% and I practice what he expressed in my day.
Once, a few years back, I was in Dallas with some folks that worked in my field. We were there to look at some equipment others had so we could learn more about the equipment and process flows.
After our visit, I asked if they would mind if I dropped by the SMU campus. As we drove through campus and I was pointing out the different buildings (that’s Owenby were we practiced, that my Fr Dorm, and so forth), we stopped in front of Meadows School o the Arts. I commented that that was the building where I got my degree.
One person in the back seat asked somewhat sheepishly, "Dr. ponyte, what’s it like in there?"
And I answered (truthfully), "Hell, how would I know? I’ve never set foot in the building."

Contrast this guy's post to what Randall Joyner posted on his facebook today:
"I woke up this morning, I get to get a great education and I get to play football. It has to be a great day the odds already on my side!!!!"
I want guys who can make 14 tackles, 2 interceptions, and also be true student athletes and GRATEFUL human beings. Ohio State can HAVE this other guy even is he's a future Heisman winner, although he probably isn't.

Great quote, and the grammar didn't make my eyes bleed.

I guess failed at the common sense part. I think one would assume typing on a mobile device, not caring, and writing on a forum typically doen't provide the expectation of needing to write perfectly. If I were writing to my boss, then you can see that formula changes.
