He couldn't do it because the COC would never allow that...at that time. Do they have the balls to finally do what is necessary now?...after all there has to be a return on capital and there is not one....time to pull out and re-invest.

No apologist for Orsini (despite my screen name), but I wonder if this is why Orsini was let go, in part? Maybe O wanted JJ out but RGT wanted to keep JJ? Maybe some heat on this issue and budget problems and ultimately the bball coach search process led to O's demise.

Wrong. Orsini was not on board with jones at all. He was handcuffed by "others" and was told what to do (er, what he couldn't do).
