May less points scored in the red zone by a bad soccer team, but for American football I agree with you.

I think this is our own misunderstanding as fans; we took "offensive guru" to mean his teams score points when in reality it referred to his unique ability to put a crap product on the field and alienate an entire fan base. That's definitely a new level of "offensive".

Phil Bennett > June Jones

I was so desperate I was hoping for the stupid DE subs in for our TE play we ran against Army.

This is the main issue for the season. You can boil all our problems down to this. If we are effective against Baylor in the red zone. Different game. Same with TCU and even UTEP. Plus it highlights the main problem with June Jones; his refusal to adapt and his stubbornness. 5 games in and he still running the same plays on the goal one rather than trying something new.

Our lack of scoring TDs also is frustrating and demoralizing for the fans, and I suspect the team. Once it goes south, it is hard to turn it around.

I just cannot get past how bad we are in the red zone. It is reminiscent of PB last year and Rice.

Need power: insert Jumbo Package.

I think we have the personnel: Line, Seeker around the corner, the big blocking back whos name I can't remember, Gilbert's ability to run, etc.

Off-tackle w/ lead blocker, QB sneak, RB sweep, QB bootleg, rocket pitch to RB, flood pass in the flats, QB rollout pass/run option, direct snap to RB, wildcat pkg, QB draw from shotgun.

A jillion simple plays might work.
