Mostly talking to JasonB, but would like anyone's input.

It'll get worse and this staff hasn't shown they can develop under-the-radar recruits well enough to actually win anything.

This staff can't recruit. After the ASU fiasco, any coach that wants to undermine June's recruiting in recruiting against him can just say "he tried to leave - do you really think he will be there for the long haul?"

Not that June is trying. He's keeping Jason Phillips from going out and recruiting the way he did at UH, he hired Palcic to replace Klemm, etc. etc. etc.

How is he keeping Phillips from recruiting? Please explain.

Just dont get how a college coach refuses to recruit? Just hire someone who will. As I typed i figured it out and I will answer my own question because it just came to me, ego. Though I still don't understand the philosophy.

Let's just say that one of the pay sites interviewed Phillips and found out what June had given to him as his job, and recruiting wasn't part of it.

Also, about all of his knowledge that he had of the UH offense that was so successful, the reason why we aren't seeing that is that Phillips is to only give his advice and opinions on the offense when June asks for it.

Ego.

Makes absolutely no sense. Please somebody with some stroke do something.

Sounds about right. I bet Phillips leaves after this yr.

I hope Turner and Hart will be happy being totally embarrassed in the BE for the next 3-5 years.
