I hope the coaches have this team better prepared for UH

Having a team ready (physically and mentally) to play is a coaches job. Having a well disciplined team is a coaches job. Houston has not really beaten anyone significant. I hope this time the coaches have the team ready to play.

On a short week, after a devastating loss to the worst team in college football and facing a team they've lost 6 in a row to that runs an offense they've never been able to stop? Not likely.

You're talking about June Jones, does he even know who is on the schedule for Thursday night? Has he even watched a frame of film? Yesterday, he couldn't be bothered.

I wish it were. Having undisciplined penalties and not having the team ready to play fall on this staff.

He said on the radio post-game that was "unfortunate" we're playing Houston, such a good passing team.

That is coach speak for expecting to get our butts handed to us on Thurs. I wouldn't be surprised if UH beat us by 40 pts.
I honestly think jj has totally quit on SMU and is just trying to make it worse so we will fire him and he will get his money.

His post game comments are starting to bother me as much as his play calling and time management.

Hope is not an effective strategy.
Hopefully JJ thinks that UH=Hawai'i and that it's an away game.

"Unfortunate" huh. Is he just trying to set UH up or is he already conceding defeat?
I hope you heard that incorrectly.
