When your qb has 5 TD passes, 49 percent completion percentages, and 10 interceptions....mind you in just 6 games...thats pathetic....though JJ is at fault if he is not playing any of our backup qbs because of relationships or political motivations with Gilberts father... GILBERT IS NOT A DIVISION 1 CALIBER QB...WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD...

I disagree with this, but what do I know.

They're all part of the problem.

The question isn't "either...or." The question is really "both...and."
Lots of blame to go around for the loss. GG gets a lot of blame because QB's get a lot of credit and a lot of blame. Goes with the position. GG needs to improve.
JJ deserves blame because he is the adult who is responsible for morale, recruiting, and play calling.

It doesn't help when your WRs can catch the ball or get any kind of separation from the Defensive Backs. Not saying that Gilbert is blame free but a QB can only be as good as his receivers.

We can talk about GGs lack of TDs compared to Ints. or the low completion average, but my biggest concern is that it could have been so much worse against Tulane. I mean GG threw five balls right to Tulane DBs in the first half alone that really should have been picked off that were not caught. If that happens against Houston, we will be behind 40-6 at the half as they have the talent to pull it off. This is really a pitiful situation, if JJ just refuses to try someone else. We are all hoping for a positive break out game by GG soon, but a 5 or 6 Int. first half game seems a lot more logical to me.

Exactly. Jones isn't the one making mistakes on the field but he is responsible for recruiting and teaching those on the field.

For any CUSA losses the bulk of the blame goes to the coaches.

Bingo. It easily could've been a 28 point Tulane lead at halftime if not for them dropping interceptions left and right.

Thank God someone on this board other than me doesn't needs glasses. All some people do on this board is look at stats.. Remember it takes two to complete a pass, geez incompetent buffoons on here... Ill admit GG sucks at long throws but most of his fault ints happen towards the end of the game. The WRs are to blame for letting the football pop out of their slippery hands into the defense who actually knows how to catch.

There is a laundry list of problems that are plaguing this team, but I truly believe that all of them stem from June Jones... The offense has yet to be in sync and it's halfway through the season, when one unit of the offense is doing well another part isn't holding up their end. When GG actually does his part, WR's drop passes, and then when they're open he misfires. Play calling is terrible, we rely too damn much on throwing the ball, our best weapon (Zach Line) isn't used enough, and our coach doesn't seem to give two squirts of rabbit [deleted] whether we win or lose. When players make poor decisions they face no consequences, June won't yell at anyone or bench them!!! On top of all these things, our players aren't good and are playing against better talent, so when we make these mistakes the results become even more costly. I'm sorry but JJ is the problem.... His demeanor completely exemplifies the results on the field, this team lacks a lot of heart and pride....

How stupid. It's the entire offense and not just GG. OL is bad, WRs suck (can't get open and play soft), and JJ's offense is overly complicated. wonder why we havent had a succesful qb here under JJ?
