Watching GG at QB reminds me of...

the days of Chris Phillips and Tate Wallis. When they played I felt that it was either luck or a miracle if we ever put the ball in the endzone. And just like with them I have 0 confidence in GG that he will ever be able lead us in the right direction.

Watch GG reminds me if how horrible it is to be a QB. You get blamed for WRs dropping balls like it was nobody's business. Having an Oline that holds the line like a Mexican army. The fact is put the best QB in CFb and he would fail. It takes TWO to complete a pass

He still has been bad regardless of all the drops or poor blocking -many due to his inaccurate throws and poor decisions.

Blocking hasn't been that bad really. If so Palcic is not as good of a teacher as the JJ to the death supporters claim.

You can't throw 5 passes right to DBs in the first half against a good team or a bad team, like GG did last week, and expect to win. This has nothing to do with drops by our receivers. Tulane dropped all those and still had a 20-6 lead at the half. GG had a false start at the goal line on a QB sneak in the 2nd quarter that would have been the winning TD. I think that first half WITHOUT A TD by SMU has been something like over 20 games since Tulane had NOT gotten a TD scored against them in a first half. Horrible QB play in first half. Worst QB play I have ever witnessed at SMU post DP or before.

I just wish he could run more, rollout, create..

Looks like he's handcuffed: don't take sacks, don't leave the pocket, don't run, etc..

He had some fire in his belly that late 4th quarter drive where it looked like he said "F-it".

Score should have ended about 38-17 even if Garrett Gilbert played exactly the way he did. QB is a lightening rod but if you're blaming only the QB for that loss you are missing the big picture
