SMU defensive coordinator Tom Mason visited with PonyFans.com to discuss how the Mustangs will be affected by Saturday's game against Tulane and to look ahead to Thursday's home game against the University of Houston.

Coach Jones said Phillips probably would not talk to Mason and Mason says he wants to talk to Phillips. I think it would not hurt him to talk to Phillips.

Says we need to learn from this. Does anyone really think JJ learned anything from this, that is, will he alter his thinking, strategy?

apparently we have played "very well against Houston, just haven't beaten them" - news to me! They have kicked our [deleted] for a long while!!
