It's probably a tight week given that the Houston game is on Thursday, but that's probably more of a convenient excuse since he'd probably get hammered with tough questions if he did show.

With all due respect to June, I don't see him winning any AL Pennants any time soon, so I would expect more than that

I'm glad that JJ has his priorities in order. With that extra hour or two of offensive scheming--instead of driving all the way over to Ozona's and meeting with ticket holders and then driving back to campus-- he'll be able to put the finishing touches on an offensive masterpiece that will cause the coogs nothing but trouble.

While I share most of the frustrations of this board, this week's happy hour has had the hoops coaches scheduled for quite some time. JJ didn't bail.

How crazy. These dinners were set up to replace the football lunches from the last couple of seasons and were deliberately scheduled on Tuesdays before home football games (instead of after every game) to cause as little inconvenience to June as possible, and we have one just for the basketball coaches? We should have just had an extra one last week for the basketball coaches and had June do this one.

Whoever is responsible for this really screwed the pooch on this one. But I guess they do what they do.
