2012 Offensive MVP - Tom Mason?

So far our best offensive weapon has been our defense. One thing we haven't talked about is the job Tom Mason has done.
Yes we still blow a couple of plays here and there, but with Mason running the show, our defense has become something that opposing offensive coordinators actually worry about.
Is it possible to give the offensive MVP to our DC or even Jagared Davis?

I get the impression that the defense has gotten fed up with the offense and has decided to take matters into their own hands.

Well they're a picked six away from breaking the NCAA record for most picked touchdowns in a season. So there's that.
